Grief is often compared to the four seasons of the year
Summer slips silently into autumn. There is a feeling of autumn in the air.God gave us the four seasons of the year. Each season brings it’s own beauty and reason.
What once was abundant has faded away. What once was vibrant has withered. What once was alive has died.
A time to seed, and a time to harvest. A time to be born, and a time to die.
As you reach the autumn of your grief, God gives you friends who are willing to Journey with you in your sorrow. People who are willing to listen People who understand how you feel.
So, for the autumn of your grief:
Give yourself permission to grieve. Do what feels right. Take time to care for yourself. Express yourself. Lean on others.
