Alzheimer’s is a cruel disease for both the patient and family members. Take comfort in the fact that your mom was well cared for and the amazing legacy she helped create. Marlene, Bernice, Colleen. Amy and of course my dear friend Sharon, each of you will grieve in your own unique way but you will also grieve together. My Condolences to The Family Sorry to hear of the loss of Aunty Jean. May she rest in Peace. She was a GREAT COOK. And always had some sort of a smart remark that made you chuckle. She will be missed.

Marlene, Colleen, Bernice, Sharon and, Amy. Our moms hold a most special space in our hearts forever; that space may be different for each of us, but is filled with many beautiful memories, all of which are different as well. Your mom was as close to me as my own. She shared her love of family and her skills with all of us, she made the best bread, her royal purple beans and pork roasts were the best. Loved, loved sitting around the kitchen table and drinking tea with her after supper. So many stories and so many laughs. We were so fortunate to have been able to grow up so close to each other, and share in each other's families.
