Olga was the oldest child born to Nick and Ann Antonyshyn from Parkerview on January 9, 1930 in Jasmin, SK  She had 3 younger sisters, Helen, Caroline and Irene. Mom attended Chieselhurst School which was 3 miles away down the back road.

Mom left school early being the oldest to help out on the farm. Mom dated Frank in 1946 and got married on Aug. 31, 1947 at the Parkerview Church which is still there. Then mom and dad started mixed farming with cattle and grain northeast of Ituna. Mom worked hard along side dad like milking cows, raising chickens, ducks and geese. When mom was asked about their honeymoon she said it was stooking grain the next day.

In 1948 family was started with Stanley being born on 1948 followed by Joe in 1953, Irene in 1957 and MaryAnn in 1959.

They lived with Dad's parents and they moved to Ituna where Mom and Dad built a new home in 1964, and then John was born in 1964, and Patsy in 1966. Dad and Mom didn’t do much travelling except a few times to B.C.

When it was finally time to retire, they moved to Ituna in 2006. In 2007 Dad had a stroke and had to go to the home in April, Mom then moved to Sunshine Manor in October of 2007. Dad passed away on June 10, 2011. In 2019 Mom moved in Ituna Pioneer Lodge.

Mom loved to sew grad gowns, wedding dresses and even a Mrs. Santa Claws outfit, and of course the girls clothes as we were growing up. Later Mom and Dad had a hobby building hope chests and garbage bins. Dad would cut the wood and Mom would finish it off. Mom would go to MaryAnn’s and make Xmas stockings, placemats, and wreaths.

Patsy loved playing CJGX Bingo with her, but no winners.

Mom always loved to visit the kids places and would paint, make perogies and have good talks about the past. The girls took Mom fishing, and of course she caught the most, and it was her first time on a small boat. Mom loved gardening and canning all the food we had on the farm as well as red wine. Her grandkids were her treasures, Mom loved when we visited her and we would have laughs. Mom also loved animals and birds and her bird calls were amazing.

Mom was predeceased by husband Frank, parents Ann & Nick, sisters Irene Chosen, Helen Gamracy, brothers-in-law Steve Gamracy and John Chosen, son-in-law Scott Longstaff.

She leaves to mourn her passing, Son Stanley (Shirley) and their family Calvin (Arlene), Twila (Tyler) and Clayton (Natasha); Son, Joe (Jean) and their family Jason (Colleen), Chrystal (Sheldon), Steven (Melissa) and Myranda (Neal); Daughter, Irene (Ron) and their son Richard (Leslie); Daughter, Maryanne (Darrell); Son, John (Corrine) and their family Colton (Reilly) and CaSandra (Matt); Daughter, Patsy and her children Kayla (Dustin) and Kendra (Tylan) as well as sister Caroline (Murray)
