




Obituary of Wade Buckle
Throughout his life he worked as a farm labourer and for a number of years he owned a truck and kept busy hauling byproducts out of the Yorkton plants. Wade also worked in plumbing and heating, at Poundmaker and for Bird Dog Archery.
As a member of the Willowbrook Wildlife Federation, Wade was an avid fisherman, hunter and bird watcher. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, quadding, camping, skydiving and tinkering with anything he could that needed fixing. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, machinery, guns and muscle cars. His most prized possession was the ’69 Dodge Charger he owned.
Wade passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was predeceased by his mother, Avis Buckle; father, Daniel Buckle; and stepfather, Raymond Buckle.
Wade leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his life his wife, Phoebe Buckle; sons Brennen and Graham Buckle; step-son, Josh Decelles (Elisha Bobb); grand-daughters, Cora, Adeline, Freya and Abigail; brother, Blaine Buckle; sister-in-law, Glenda Buckle; mother-in-law, Judy Decelles; father-in-law, Leon Decelles; brother-in-law, Fabien Decelles and numerous nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
A Celebration of Wade’s life was held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Crystal Bailey, Certified Celebrant officiating. Special musical selections shared were “Highway Man” by The Highway Men and “Come With Me” by Waylon Jennings. The interment followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery with James McDermott serving as urn bearer.
Memorials in memory of Wade may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association as gifts of remembrance.
