




Obituary of Clarence David Sagel
The family of Clarence David Sagel of the Yorkton district, beloved husband of Joyce Sagel sadly announce his passing on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Clarence was 69 years of age.
A family visitation & cremation has taken place.
Memorials in memory of Clarence may be made to the Chuckwagon Racing Association C/O The Yorkton Exhibition Association as gifts of remembrance.
It is with prefound sadness that we announce the passing of Clarence Sagel at the age of 69 years on March 5, 2025. He was surrounded by his loved ones during his final days at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. Clarence was an only child, born November 7, 1955 to David & Mabel (Niefer) Sagel and raised in Yorkton, Sask.
Clarence & Joyce were married on Joyces birthday, May 23, 1974, married for just over 50 years.
Clarence worked at the Yorkton Veterinary Clinic then proceeded onto a career with the City of Yorkton.
Clarence enjoyed attending all the sports events of his grandchildren. He also had a special love for horses & rodeo’s.
Clarence was predeceased by his parents David & Mable (Niefer) Sagel.
Clarence leaves behind to mourn his loss, his beloved wife Joyce Sagel, his daughter Laura Sagel, son-in-law Jared Stewart of Yorkton, SK, daughter Marlene Sagel, son-in-law Gord Harasen of Fort St. John, BC. His grandchildren Darren Harasen, Haley Stewart, Austin Stewart (Jody), Jordan Stewart (Morgan).
Joyce and family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Yorkton Regional Health Centre for the excellent care that was given to Clarence during his hospital stay.
