Obituary of Rodney Chrispen
The family of Rodney Chrispen of Melville, husband of the late Therese Chrispen and father of Angela Chrispen sadly announce his passing on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Rodney was 95 years of age.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 1:00p.m. from the Chapel of Bailey's Funeral Home, Melville with Rev. Brian Mee officiating.
The interment will follow in the Melville Municipal Cemetery.
Rodney Richard Chrispen was born on November 5, 1929 in Rosetown Saskatchewan.
A son to George and Margaret Chrispen. His ancestors came from many parts of the United States. He grew up on a small farm with a brother and a sister. He would walk to school and help with horses. When he got older, he met a lady, Therese Franks. They fell in love in a small town named Mcgee, SK. Then they were united in marriage. In 1972 they bought a farm in Brewer, SK. They lived there till January 1983. They then moved to Melville, SK. During the month of April 1983, they welcomed a beautiful baby girl and named her Angela.
He enjoyed reading, watching westerns, going for walks, visits with family and friends, and evening phone calls with his daughter.
Rodney passed away on Saturday, May 3,2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Home in Melville, SK, at the age of 95 years old. Predeceased by his Father and Mother.
Rodney leaves to cherish his memory with his daughter Angela, of Regina, SK, and close friends.
