Obituary of Olive Patzer

Olive Florence Patzer, 1923 - 2025.

Olive Florence Patzer (nee Horn), cherished mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025.  Olive was born near Springside, Saskatchewan to Mathilde and Edward Horn. 

She is predeceased by her parents; her sisters Eleanor, Phyllis, Evelyn, Constance, and Frances; her brother George; her husband Eric; and her daughter Lynne. 

Olive leaves to mourn her daughter, Gailia Bowman (Collin) of Saskatoon; her grandchildren Courtney and Stephen; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

From 2001 to 2022 she greatly enjoyed her residence at Luther Heights Retirement Community.  She spent the sunset period of her life at Sunnyside Seventh Day Adventist Care Home in Saskatoon. 

The family expresses warmest gratitude to all of the excellent staff at Sunnyside for their exemplary care. 

The Funeral Service was held on Friday, June 13, 2025 from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Pastor Richard Gibson officiating.

The interment followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery.
