They were married on July 13, 1991. Cliff enjoyed camping, working in his shop at the farm, building and working on his antique tractor as well. He enjoyed working on the farm for Warren, his brother-in-law for five years, also Brian, Harry, and Kirk Niebrandt. He then found employment at Yorkdale School working there until retirement. He loved Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, and Merle Haggard. Over the years he loved spending time at the trailer at Lake of The Prairies, fishing, and driving his golf cart and visiting with their many friends and families.  On the farm he liked spending time with his grandchildren. Cliff was also very particular about his yard, grass, and trees, there couldn’t be a leaf left on the lawn.

After he retired, he spent time at the food court visiting with friends, spending time at the lake, and visiting with his brother-in-law Donald and Boris and all the friends he made there. In his later years, Cliff loved doing word finds, visiting with friends, relatives, and neighbours.
