Obituary of Brayden McCoy-Ratte
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Brayden McCoy-Ratte, who left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew him, despite his tragically short life of 20 years.
Born on February 26, 2005, Brayden passed away on September 25, 2025. He is survived by his devoted parents, Nicole and Dave Ratte; sister and brother-in-law, Emera and Henry Karn; brother and sister-in-law, Tristan-lee and Audrey McCoy; grandparents Larry and Glora McCoy; Aunt Leeanna McCoy; three cousins; and great cousins from his mother's side. Brayden's best friend, Ryder, and his extended family, Alizabeth Grace and Josh J Caesar, also mourn his loss. Furthermore, he is survived by his grandmother, Lina Ratté Groleau; Diane Lafrance; grandfather, Yvon Ratte; aunt, Marie-Josée St-Pierre; and her partner and family.
Brayden's remarkable ability to touch hearts and lives during his brief time on earth was a testament to his extraordinary spirit. His courage, kindness, and generosity inspired countless individuals, and his memory will continue to be a source of comfort and strength. Brayden will be deeply missed, and his love and legacy will be cherished forever.
There will be no formal funeral service held.
