Obituary of Beverley Kelbaugh
Beverley was born Nov 8, 1955, in Melville to Mary and Joesph Balaberda, she was the youngest of the 5 children. After graduating from high school in Regina, Saskatchewan, Bev married Keith in 1973, beginning a lifelong journey of love, partnership, and resilience. Together, they raised three children: Tracey, Terri, and Robert, each a reflection of her strength and kindness.
Bev’s heart was boundless. Over the years, she welcomed many foster children into her home, offering not just shelter but unconditional love, guidance, and a sense of belonging. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her family, touching countless lives.
She was also a devoted lover of animals. She had many pets over the years including her very special rescue cats. Her compassion knew no bounds—if anyone needed love, they found it with her.
Life on the farm demanded hard work, and Bev met it head-on. Bev held many jobs throughout her career, each one a testament to her dedication and resilience. But it was in the company of children—whether in schools or daycares—where she found her greatest joy. Her ability to connect, comfort, and inspire made her a beloved figure in every classroom and playroom she entered.
Her kitchen was the heart of her home. She had a gift for cooking that went beyond ingredients—it was an act of love. No one ever left her table hungry, and every meal was a memory made.
Her legacy is one of generosity, strength, and unwavering love. Bev touched many lives, warmed many hearts with countless stories that will be told for generations. Bev survived by her husband Keith, her children, Tracey (Todd), Terri (Joe) and Robert (Stephanie) along with her grandchildren Zac and Alanna along with several nieces and nephews and dear friends.
We thank you for your love and generosity Bev. We miss you and will keep your memories close to our hearts forever.
