Life was definitely not easy for Bernie. His sense of humor, love of his family and friends. He always had a joke during family gatherings. Getting together with cousins there was always country dances to attend, late night bonfires and lots of laughs. I remember one night being in a car load of people and Bernie decided to donuts backwards with his car. That was so funny. Attending weddings or other family celebrations with music there was always the Butterfly Dance. Oh and another request he would jokingly make to the band was "Play Achy Breaky Heart". Lots of laughs and goofiness. Giving his 3 sisters a ride in a canoe pulled by his quad on his acreage. He had special names for his 3 sisters. Kucherava, Zazkurchena and Strapata ( English spellings for Ukrainian words).

Deepest sympathy to Eugene and family. May all your memories help you at this difficult time. Bernie was a great man that always had a smile on his face and always had time to talk. We had a lot of fun with Bernie and Diane, we also knew never to dare him to do anything as he would sure do it! So much fun so many laughs. Rest in peace Bernie!

Our sincere condolences to the entire Stadnyk family. Bernie and I go a long way back. We both attended Foam Lake High and I reflect on some very memorable moments - our noon hour breaks playing pool at Gorski Billiards attempting to become “pool sharks”. During our working careers in Yorkton, Bernie and I often crossed paths and had a chat. I will always remember Bernie for his very keen sense of humor. Eternal Memory.

Bernie my "little brother"
Bernie loved life, be it manicuring his acreage or having fun at a party. Where ever Bernie was it was fun. He was so very proud of his family and was always not far away to lend a helping hand. Life has been somewhat difficult for Bernie, losing his very young son and his beloved wife Diane. He was diagnosed with diabetes and later with dementia.
Rest in Peace my dear "Little Brother" you will be missed.
Your older sister: Verlie
My sympathy to Eugene, Fran, Deanna, Steven and Samuel life will be different without "dad and Gedo"
