Obituary of Ann Osolinski

 

The family of Ann Osolinski of Yorkton, beloved wife of the late Stan Osolinski, sadly announce her passing on December 23, 2025. Ann was 86 years of age.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday April 11, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. from Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Reverend Brian Mee officiating.

Memorial donations in memory of Ann may be made to the Soup Haven Lunch Program, 186 Allanbrooke Drive, Yorkton, Saskatchewan S3N 3G5 as gifts of remembrance.

 The family of Ann Osolinski (nee Uhryn) sadly announces her passing on December 23, 2025.   She was born in Crystal Springs on January 29, 1939, and grew up on the family farm.  After high school she attended nursing school in Prince Albert.  Ann married Stan Osolinski on August 18, 1962..  Following their marriage, the couple lived in Prince Albert for 13 years, where Ann worked as a nurse.  They moved to Yorkton in 1975, where Ann found employment at the Yorkton Union Hospital, where she stayed until her retirement in 1999.

    Ann enjoyed bowling throughout her life.  Her favourite activity in retirement was learning to quilt.  She enjoyed her membership in the Yorkton Quilters Guild.  Ann and Stan enjoyed travelling, visiting all over Canada, the western United States, the United Kingdom and Venezuela.  The highlight of their travels was a dream trip to Australia and New Zealand.  Ann also enjoyed traveling around the province of Saskatchewan, and very much enjoyed spending time at Madge Lake.

   Ann was predeceased by her husband Stan Osolinski, her parents, William Uhryn and Lena Uhryn, brothers Robert Uhryn and Eugene Uhryn, and sisters Elsie Uhryn and Marie Marud.

   Ann is survived by her two children Cheryl Brcic (Tony) and Jason Osolinski, her grandchildren Justine Scott (Rob) and Michael Brcic, great-grandchildren Hailyn Scott and Savannah Scott, her brother Walter of Drayton Valley, Alberta, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
