Tyrone Morrison

Obituary of Tyrone Morrison

Tyrone (Tony) John Morrison was born on December 4 1974 at the Yorkton Hospital. His Mom Orphys and Corrine Purves and John Purves ( Grandparents ) lived in Yorkton until Orphys married Don Morrison in 1981. Tony began school in Yorkton and then when the family moved to Dunleath he continued his school there. He attended junior high at Yorkdale and then continued his education at the Yorkton Regional Highschool, and he completed his grade 12 at the Parkland College.

Tony was very versatile and did all trades, but he loved farming outdoors , he was an avid hunter and fisherman from a young age and with the family made and sold fish hooks throughout Saskatchewan. In 2006 Tony met the love of his life Kristine and they were married in 2011 at the Dunleath Presbyterian church. Tony and Kristine raised four children Alex, Cara, Baler, and Leigh and they all continued to live in Dunleath. In 2015 the family moved to Cambridge, Ontario and had the opportunity to reconnect with Kristine's family. They returned and lived in the Yorkton area ultimately making their permanent home Dunleath. Tony struggled with his life at a young age, but it never stopped him from doing the things he loved.

The most important thing in Tyrone's life was his family, Tyrone was a gentle soul in every sense of the world. He would give you the shirt off his back if it was the last thing he had, never hesitating to help anyone in need. To many, he was more than a friend — he was family. His kindness, warmth, and quiet strength touched countless lives, and his absence leaves an unimaginable void.

Tony was predeceased by his father Don Morrison and his grandparents Corrine and John Purves and will be greatly missed by his wife Kristine, his mom Orphys, his children, his nieces and nephews particularly his great nephew Cody, and many family and friends.
