Obituary of Klara Donnelly

It is with great sadness that the family of Klara Donnelly announce her passing, peacefully, at St Peters Hospital on January 24, 2026. She was 94 years of age.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 29 at 1:00p.m. from the Chapel of Bailey's Funeral Home, Melville.

The interment will follow in the Duff Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey's Funeral and Cremation Care, Melville. 

Klara was born in Central Butte Saskatchewan on June 15,1931 to Jacob and Dorothy Kremble. Her mom died when she was a year and a half old and she then went to live with her uncle and aunt, Henry and Catherine Mann in Broadview.

She eventually went out on her own working for a family farm in Duff. She met Irvin Donnelly and they married in 1949. They had 4 children, Christine, Jennette, Tom and Shelly. Irvin passed way in 1975, and in 1988 met a wonderful man, Albert Holstein, that she spent 27 years with.

Her family was always very important to her. Get togethers at every holiday and summertime barbecues. She was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren who will miss her very much.

Klara was predeceased by her husband Irvin, and partner Albert Holstein. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Christine and family; daughter Jennette (Wayne) and family; son Tom and family; daughter Shelly (Ron) and family and Alberts daughter Shelley and family; and son Garry (Valerie) and family as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Cumberland Villa for their many kindnesses during her stay there.
