Kevin was one of the good guys. It’s been many decades since I laced them up with Kevin, but there’s no denying his very positive influence on my life growing up. He always looked out for the rookies and was a lifetime favourite player of my father, Reg.

Our deepest condolences to Gwen and family. Kevin and I played together for the Terriers for 2 seasons (1981/82 & 1982/83) and often were defense partners. A gritty hockey player but always a strong family man. It was a pleasure and honour to play with him on the Terriers, win a SJHL title together and ultimately know him. Donna and I send our thoughts and prayers.

I’m so sorry to hear of Kevin’s passing.
Even though I haven’t been part of his life in a very long while, I’ve often thought of him with fond memories over the years. All of my school and hockey photos have him in them. In elementary school, we got into our share of mischief together and were both well acquainted with the principals office. We competed and played together in sports and were on more hockey trips than I can count.
There’s not one thing I can remember about Kevin that I didn’t like. I’ve always admired his grit and his kindness. Unfortunately life got busy and I regret not staying in touch with him. He was a big part of the fun I had as a kid and when I heard of his passing it’s like he took a piece of my childhood with him.
My deepest condolences to you and your family Gwen.
May God comfort your hearts through this time of sorrow.

I want you to know how sad I was to hear about Kevin’s passing. He was a strong, sweet, loyal, loving, and humble man. I was lucky to be his friend.
