Obituary of Hariet Eleonore Marion
Harriet was a very special woman to all of us, respected by all. She sewed blankets, moss bags, baby bonnets, and jingle dresses for little ones, as well as any alterations. She made perogies, fry bread, bread, and buns, which she enjoyed doing. Her favourite was rabbit/duck soup, she always craved it. When she saw a rabbit in the yard or running across the yard, she’d tell them to quit teasing her – even seeing the ducks on the side of the road would make her want duck soup. Everyone always asked for her famous fried Bannock. She was either by the stove cooking or playing cards, bingo, and watching her daytime stories.
Harriet loved her family and friends and relatives. She was always there for whomever or for whatever reason, to talk or to do something.
Harriet was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Alfred Genaille and Margaret Genaille (nee Cote); her children Brian, Cheryl, Bill, and Vicky; and her grandson Brett.
She is survived by her brothers, Wally Genaille, George Genaille, Joe Genaille, and Matthew Genaille; sisters, Mary Thomas, Sarah Genaille, Gloria Genaille, Margaret (Dolly) Genaille, Katherine Swanson, Doris Campeau, and Susan Strongquilfeather.
