Brenda Rogalsky

Obituary of Brenda Lynn Rogalsky

With heavy hearts, the family of Brenda Rogalsky (née Kosar), beloved wife of Ron Rogalsky, announces her passing on March 6, 2026, at Regina General Hospital. Brenda was born on February 15, 1959, in Canora, Saskatchewan. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.

Brenda lived a life filled with love, kindness and dedication to those she treasured. Above all, she was a deeply devoted mother to her son, Joseph Laszlo, who held the most precious place in her heart and brought her immeasurable pride and joy.

Brenda was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Amelia (Kopec) Kosar, who instilled in her the values of hard work and compassion. Predeceased by her parents and her brother, Donald (Stevie Cornforth), Brenda is survived by a loving family that carries forward her legacy of love and warmth. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Ronald Rogalsky, whom she married on June 21, 2014, in a ceremony that celebrated their shared dreams and unwavering bond. Along with Joseph, Brenda is also lovingly remembered by her sister Cynthia (Randy Kachur), who shared in her heart and life as a cherished sister, and her brother Leslie, whom she held in her heart.

Brenda’s life was enriched by a wide circle of close, lifelong friends who became her chosen family. She had a gift for forming deep and lasting friendships, and over the years she became “Auntie Brenda” to many who were welcomed into her life with love and care. Among those she held especially dear were Alix Love and Lorie Somogyi with whom she shared laughter, love and a lifetime of unforgettable moments.

Brenda loved baking, gardening and tea parties, and she held dear every moment spent sharing these simple joys with family and friends. She was also a dedicated soccer coach, inspiring and encouraging young players both on and off the field. Brenda loved travelling with Ron, creating memories together and collecting Christmas ornaments from around the world, each one a reminder of the places they had been. Her dog, Chester, was a faithful companion and a source of everyday joy.

Brenda will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart and the way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, loyal friend and adored Auntie, and she will be deeply missed.

Forever loved, forever blessed and will be forever missed.
