Sincere condolences to all of Everett's family. He was a good friend to all of our family and more like an uncle than a friend. Whenever Susan and I stopped in for a visit, he always greeted us like we were a part of his family. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

I remember meeting Everett for the first time and how warmly he welcomed me into his family. That sense of warmth and openness stayed with me over the years. I have many fond memories of time spent together, dancing in the kitchen, playing cards, and watching curling. I always appreciated when he joined me for church, and I still smile when I think about going with him to the Craven Country Festival, especially the muddy RV experience we had that somehow made it even more memorable. Saturday nights watching the dance show on Access TV (with Walter) were also special moments that I will carry with me. I also loved hearing about his trip to Alaska, which he spoke of with such meaning. It is a journey we hope to take in his honour. To me .. Everett lived with strong values of love and care. I hold him in high regard. I will remember him with deep respect and his warmth and compassion. True values we all need.
