Obituary of Alan Labossiere

The family of Alan Labossiere of Yorkton, beloved husband of the late Marie Labossiere sadly announce his passing on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Alan was 61 years of age.

As per Alan's wishes, no funeral service will be held.

Memorial donations may be made to the Yorkton S.P.C.A as gifts of remembrance.

In loving memory of our brother Alan

Do you see that smiling face on the motorcycle. That's our brother trying to be a tough guy. Unfortunately for him he didn't have a mean bone in his body so didn't truly fit the bill.  His smile had the ability to light up a room and his laugh could bring joy to any occasion. 

He was a man who dearly loved his family, his dogs, guitars and music to no end. An old fashioned renaissance man. Someone we are proud to call Brother.

 Alan leaves behind Don and Cliff, all that now remains of his immediate family. The rest were there to greet him when he made his exit. 

To his friends he was truly loyal and ever grateful for their kindnesses and support. Don and I also thank you.

Alan is finally at peace, no more suffering at all and at this moment is doubtless trying to find some dogs, a bike and a few guitars in the great up and beyond. When you next see a bright star, that'll be him. Smiling and laughing as he always does. Likely because he found what he was seeking.
