Obituary of Felix Juzyniec

Felix Joseph Juzyniec

July 20, 1938 to May 23, 2026

Felix Juzyniec was born July 20, 1938, at home near Rosefield, Saskatchewan. He was the third child of Joseph and Josephine (Englot) Juzyniec. In 1946, his family purchased a farm east of Whitewood, Saskatchewan so the children could attend the town school. Felix attended Whitewood School until 1956. He then helped his dad on the farm and worked at various jobs around the community eventually taking over the family farm.

On October 12, 1963 he married Bernice Larson from Burrows. They operated a mixed farm and raised three girls. He had a witty sense of humour which he enjoyed sharing around the coffee shop, the auction barn, and farm sales. Felix was an avid sports fan who tried to get all his farm work completed early, so he could attend the local ball and hockey games. In 2006, Bernice and Felix sold their farm and retired to Yorkton. For several summers, Felix was employed to maintain the horse racing track for the Yorkton Exhibition. Felix filled his retirement with quadding, picking berries, and helping the neighbours with odd jobs. In 2025, Bernice and Felix sold their house and moved into the Bentley in Yorkton.

Felix was predeceased by his parents, his brother Edward, his sister Clara, and his grandsons Tyson and Kurt. He is survived by Bernice his wife of 62 years, daughters Cherie (Garry), Cindy (Duane), Tracy (Jeremy ), grandchildren Blake, Kaleb, and Courtney (Brendan) and great grandchildren Jaideyn, Weston, Harper, Nora and Eve.

As per Felix's wishes, no funeral service will take place. A private burial will take place at a later date in the Whitewood Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Kinsmen Telemiracle or to STARS Air Ambulance as gifts of remembrance.
