Obituary of Dave Herron

David Earl Herron passed away peacefully May 26 2026 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre at the age of 81 years old. 

Dave was born July 8 1944. He was the fourth of eight children born to Jim and Annie Herron. He grew up and lived a majority of his life in Bredenbury. Dave married Gloria (nee Leppington) and had two children, Vince and Brian.

Dave spent a few years of his life on the oil rigs before taking over the Gulf Bulk Fuel dealership in Bredenbury. He then worked for 17 years for CP Rail as a engine attendant before starting his true passion as a hard working successful 

cattle man. Dave did a lot of hunting and was a Trapper for many years.

Dave was predeceased by his parents Jim and Annie, brothers Max, Lorne , Don and Mark. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Gloria, his sons Vince (Valerie) and Brian (Shirley) and his grandson Tyson.

As per Dave’s request there will be no funeral service or public gathering.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey's Funeral Home.
