Got to meet Alan and Betty at John Deere in Melville ( Litzenberger's) in the 70's. Numerous trips hauling equipment to the farm over his farming career. Alan was one of the nicest men you could ever meet. Random meeting at Crooked lake when riding my motorcycle years back and the visit lasted hours. Everyone always came away from a visit with Alan/Betty feeling good. Rest in peace my friend. Wes Dohms

We will truly miss your dad, grandpa and great grandpa. What an amazing life full of accomplishments, service to humanity and LOVE for his successful family. He truly cared about people around him and took genuine interst to reach out. We always enjoyed our friendship, and visits to his place and the sweet red wine. Our condolences to the family.

Dear Verity and Verone
I was saddened to hear the passing of your father, Alan.
What a remarkable life he lived, reaching the wonderful age of 97 and leaving behind so many cherished memories. Alan was very caring, kind, friendly, and positive each and every time my Baba, Mother and myself had the opportunity to enjoy his company. Alan and your mother Betty were good friends of the Senyk family and will be missed. May they both R.I.P.

Sincerest condolences to Verone, Verity and family. I met Alan in the late sixties. Very friendly, helpful, with a great sense of humor. He convinced me to replace him as Director for the Yorkton Co-op. Enviable work ethic, always running to get things done. For his 60th Birthday, I got him a baseball cap that said, “Doing Sixty and Gaining Speed” and that was 37 years ago. May God grant him eternal life.

Sincere condolences to Verity, Verone and families . We were sad to hear of your dad’s passing, but he just played out. We have fond memories of our time with them at the lake. What a wonderful man and what a wonderful life. We were indeed privileged to be friends of Al and Betty. Al even called us on our anniversary this year. He had a very positive outlook on life. So sorry to hear about Allan’s passing , once in awhile someone comes along that sticks in your memory , Allan happened to be one of those people . I had the pleasure of looking after Allan’s mother Betty in the lodge in Broadview where I got to know her family . They were always so pleasant & grateful for everything we did .
