Obituary of John Kolebaba

The family of John Kolebaba of Yorkton, sadly announce his passing on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026. John was 96 years of age.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Sherry Haatvedt; son Doug Kolebaba (Maita). Grandchildren: Elliott Haatvedt (Jocelyn), Erin Kennealy (Aron), Danielle Torres, Gabrielle Torres and 5 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his ex-wife Bernice, sisters Mary Parkes and Joyce Allen, son-in-law Dennis Haatvedt, his parents Nick and Annie Kolebaba.

John will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Many say he was the hardest working man they knew!

A Graveside Service was held for family and friends.

Memorial donations can be made to the Yorkton SPCA as gifts of remembrance.

Arrangements for John Kolebaba are entrusted to Bailey’s Funeral Home.
