My condolences to the family. He was such a wonderful man, teacher, community and parish member. He influenced so many lives in countless ways. I never forgot him telling us in economics class to never borrow or charge things that would be consumed if you couldn’t pay it off immediately and I never did! Just a small example of what a difference he made in so many lives. Definitely A favourite teacher to many! So sorry for your loss Donna (Kowalchuk) Rogers

To Leona and family, We are so sorry for your loss. We are thinking of all of you at this difficult time. We will always remember our meet ups with Cecil at the post office or in the grocery store, he always had a little chat and a smile to greet you, along with inquiring with interest about what both of us were doing. He was one of the few teachers that Duane often spoke about and often lifted my mood after a tough day in the classroom. He will be missed by many in the community. May memories of family times spent with Cecil bring you comfort in the days and months ahead.
