Obituary of Kelvin Prychak
It is with overwhelming sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, Kelvin Prychak, on July 16, 2026.
Kelvin was born on December 29, 1967, in Invermay, Saskatchewan. He attended Rama School from Kindergarten through Grade 12 before studying carpentry in Yorkton.
Kelvin settled on a farm southwest of Rama, where he began raising his family. A gifted carpenter, he took great pride in his work and operated his own carpentry business while living on the farm. After selling the farm and moving his home to Yorkton, he continued his career at Castle Building Centre and at Home Hardware. Kelvin was respected for his strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and willingness to help others. He was loved and respected by his coworkers and by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all else, Kelvin's greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted father who embraced every moment with his children and later treasured his role as a grandfather. He loved spending time on the boat, fishing, sledding, quadding, cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and, more recently, hunting with Kelsey and Mason. The memories he created with his family will be cherished forever.
Kelvin is lovingly remembered by his children, Kelsey & Mason, and Reanna & Cameron; and by his grandchildren, Bensen, Henley, and Harper. He is also survived by his parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents as well as an uncle and an aunt.
Kelvin's kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from Springside Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Kauenhofen officiating. The accompanists were Kitty Arndt and Jeanette Kriger.Cameron Enns read scripture and Aden Audet delivered the eulogy. The interment followed in the Springside Town Cemetery with Kevin Dureau serving as urn bearer.
