Obituary of Betty Ulmer
Betty Ulmer (nee Wihlidal) was born on October 5, 1942 in Melville, Saskatchewan, a daughter to John and Annie (nee Bernhardt) Wihlidal.In 1957 Betty and Chris started a life together. A year later on September 30, 1958 they were married in Regina, SK. and were blessed with two children, Deb and Darrell. They would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.Betty and Chris lived in Regina for a short time then moved to the Neudorf district in 1959 to farm. They later built their forever home in Neudorf in 1975.Betty was a fulltime mother; she drove school bus for 18 years then worked at Neudorf Post Office until she retired.Betty enjoyed gardening, baking, playing the organ and visiting with her grandkids. Betty was also involved with the Killaly and Lemberg Churches. Betty and Chris also enjoyed travelling to Hawaii and all over the United States.Predeceased by her parents, John and Annie Wihlidal: Daughter-in-law Brenda Ulmer, Betty leaves to cherish her memory her husband Chris; daughter Deb Goldstone (Al); son Darrell (Sharon); grandchildren, Dawn Goebel (Kory, Falon and Kruz) Landon Ulmer (Jillian, Blake, Perri), Kaylee Ulmer, Shayla Frick (Rhys, Corben and Brennalee); Sister MaryAnn Kreiger (Ervin); as well as nieces and nephews.
