W. Allan Bailey (1932-2023)

Founder


Allan Bailey is a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and has been a licensed funeral director since 1955. He founded Bailey's Funeral Home in 1963, and is its president. Mr. Bailey is a recipient of a Life Membership from the Saskatchewan Funeral Service Association, the Funeral Service Association (FSAC) Award of Merit, the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal (2012) and the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (posthumously, 2023).

Raymond Bailey

Manager And Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Raymond is a graduate of Humber College in Ontario and became a licensed funeral director in 1991. He has worked with Bailey’s Funeral Home since 1992.
During his free time Raymond enjoys participating in Yorkton's Rotary Club, fishing, cycling and cross country skiing.

Crystal Bailey

Continuing Care Coordinator and Certified Celebrant

Crystal's work experience and education in the areas of pastoral studies and theology provide a wonderful foundation for her role as Bailey's Continuing Care Coordinator in which she offers gentle guidance and support to bereaved families. A certified celebrant, Crystal also works one on one with families to create a personalized celebration of life for their loved one.

Crystal is an active member of St. Andrew's United Church Leadership Team, the chairperson for Shelwin House and the vice-chairperson for the Parkland Victims Services Board.

Dean Petersen (Retired)

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer


Dean started working at Bailey's Funeral Home in 1975, after completing his education in Yorkton. He became a licensed funeral director in 1977, and has served his hometown through his entire career. Dean enjoys playing his trumpet in the jazz band, singing in the Community Choir and is an active member of Westview United Church.

Larry German (Retired)

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer


Larry entered the profession in Canora, and was licensed as a funeral director in 1984. He joined the staff of Bailey's Funeral Home in 1985. 
On December 31, 2020 Larry retired from his full-time career at Bailey's. However, he still meets with families and arranges some funerals.

Ronna Nagy

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Ronna’s calm demeanor and hard work ethic make her a wonderful addition to the Bailey team. The kindness and care that Ronna puts forward when helping people is definitely a huge asset to the career path she has chosen. She is willing to do whatever it takes to help those around her like her own family.

Ronna was born and raised in Yorkton by Ron and Margaret Pasloski. She is grateful to serve friends, neighbours and community members during one of the most difficult times in their life.

During her spare time Ronna enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul, and their two children. She loves to garden and spend time at the lake.

Sharon Pedde

Sharon works as the Administration Assistant at Bailey's Funeral Home. Her kind and helpful nature is appreciated by the families we are privileged to serve. Born and raised in Yorkton, Sharon enjoys caring for the people of this community. She also likes to spend time with her family - especially her new grandson, is a Director for the Yorkton Curling Club Association and curls in the Women's League.
