Obituary of Francis "Tony" Faron Keshane

KESHANE -- Francis Faron 'Tony' Keshane passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Yorkton. He was 46 years of age. Tony was born on August 19, 1967 at Kamsack, Saskatchewan; a son of Cora (nee McKay) and Eugene Keshane. The older kids couldn't say 'Sonny', so they called him 'Tony'. He loved collecting beetle bugs and stuffing grass up his nose, not weeds. Tony & Cam were very close, always together. The six brothers had to triumph over a lifetime of obstacles five sisters. We acquire friends and we make enemies but our sisters come with the territory. In the outside world we all grow old but not to brothers and sisters, we know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts, we share private family jokes, we remember family feuds, secrets, family griefs and joy. We live outside the touch of time, robbing life of friendships is like robbing the world of the sun. The best portion of Tony's life is his little nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love. Love you son. Mom, brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his father Eugene; his brother John Henry; grandparents Sam & Charlotte McKay, and Stanley & Agnes Keshane. He leaves to cherish his life his loving mother Cora; his daughter Stacey; sisters: Maxine (Leon), Beverley (Lee), Gaileen, Carletta & Cynthia; brothers: Warren (Roberta), Cameron, Darwin (Inez), Ryan (Vivian) & Arthur (Lisa); many grandsons & granddaughters, as well as numerous other relatives and his many friends. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from the Yorkton Friendship Centre with Pastor Fred Keshane officiating. Several song were sung and tributes were given from family members and close friends of Tony. The interment took place in the Yorkton City Cemetery.
