Walter was a friendly, kind man in our community. He was always smiling and made time to always stop & inquire how you were. Always willing to lend a helping hand. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to his family. Such a great loss, but will be fondly remembered with respect.

We are so very sad to hear of Walter's passing. He will be remembered with a smile on his face and wearing his cap with an slight tilt. He was always happy to see us & welcomed us back to SK with a hug & a hand shake. Walter was always interested in what was new in our lives. A proud, hard working farmer who loved and enjoyed his family. Walter always told amusing & affectionate stories. He was a close neighbour, dear friend, has a special place in our hearts. We remember Walter with love. Sending our deepest sympathy & condolence to Bev & Myron, Rebecca, Dane, Emily, Barry & Sherry.

My deepest sympathy to Wally's family. I know Wally loved his farm as he kept the house and grounds in impeccable shape. Tho he often spoke of his early days working for a Chrysler dealership in Regina. Glad to call him friend, I will miss him. Ray McKay

Uncle Walter was, as the avid fisherman he was would put it, a real keeper. Always a favourite of the Tesarowski children, our visits to Saskatchewan would never be complete without a visit to the Popowich's. A fiercely proud man, Uncle Walter loved his family and his grandchildren especially gave him real joy. Uncle Walter was especially close to my brother Daryl and they can now go fishing together, or just chat. He had a special bond with my sister Donna as they shared a birth date. I always remembered when It was Uncle Walter's birthday! We will miss him greatly. I am restoring his mother's '53 red and white Chevy and am so sorry that Uncle Walter won't get to go for a ride when it's back on the road. Say hi to Auntie Doreen for me. You will both be happier at each others' sides.
