Dear Judee, I was googling names of people I knew from the past and sadly discovered that Bill had passed away. You might remember me from Flin Flon days when Bill and I worked together with the Royal Bank. I also remember that your brother was holding my son Christopher in an elevator while visiting your parents in Winnipeg and Chris "spilled up" on your brothers wool coat. Good thing your family had a Dry Cleaning business. I still remember when Bill asked if I wanted to go into the McDonalds franchise and I laughed at such a suggestion. "Me flip burgers?" BIG MISTAKE on my part. Bill was always smiling and had a great laugh. I had intended to drop in to Yorkton for a visit, over the years, but life got in the way. Judee, Mark, Nicole and family. We are so sorry for you loss, Bill was very special to us when we first got into McDonalds in Weyburn, he was a great mentor as he would review our P & L statement each month, and advise of areas of opportunity in the restaurant operation. We always enjoyed all the business trips that we hung out together, and then finally after we both retired, spending the winters down in Mazatlan and the Monday nights at various Mexican Restaurants, and of course having a few beverages together discussing our golf shots made and not made, they were very special times in our retirement years. To : Judy and family So sorry to hear about Bill Just found out today (Mon-6th) about his passing! Sharon kept wondering if something was wrong as she would often look out our Condo window and take note of whether your vechicle(s) were in the parking lot at the Crossing or not! Bill was a wonderful man! We always enjoyed our visits with both of you and our short ‘drop-ins" with you guys ar The Crossing. We often commented how dedicated you were to Bill and the love you showed him day after day while he resided in residence ! You will miss him but we know he appreciated your love to the very end of life. We will be unable to attend the service celebrating Bills life as we are in Calgary during that time.
