Obituary of Violet Rohatensky

The family of Violet Rohatensky sadly announces her passing at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on February 21, 2018. Violet was born on October 25, 1933 to Tom and Nellie (nee Osmack) Kozak in the Calder District. She attended Torsk School. She continued her education, attaining her teaching qualifications. On October 24th, 1954 Violet was united in marriage to Tony Rohatensky. The couple lived in various communities where Tony sought employment. These included Flin Flon, Saskatoon, Gronlid and Melfort. In 1963, the family moved back to the Rohatensky homestead where farmed until 1992. They continued to live on the farm until June of 2013 when they retired to Yorkton. She was predeceased by her loving husband Tony in 2014; her parents Tom and Nellie. Violet's memory will be cherished by her sons Anthony Thomas of Yorkton and Robert James of Regina, five grandchildren (Eden, Landon. Keone, T&egravea and Logan) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
