Obituary of Judith Terese Fedorowich

Judy Fedorowich, resident of Extendicare Fairmont South in Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the age of 52 years. Prayers will be held on Sunday, November 19th at 7:00pm, and the Requiem Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, November 20th at 10:00am, all from St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Yorkton. Interment to follow in the Yorkton City Cemetery. Our dear sweet sister, Judith Terese Fedorowich, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge, Alberta, on November 11, 2017. Judy was born May 28, 1965 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. We learned how special and endearing she was when we first saw her. She had a kind, gentle and loving nature. One of God's little blessings. As a child, she attended John Chisholm School in Moose Jaw, Sask. and worked at the Diversified Services in Moose Jaw. She loved all animals and was especially fond of kittens spending hours each week cuddling and feeding them at the Lethbridge Animal Shelter. Judy was predeceased by her parents: Ernest (2000), Veronica (November 2016) and brother-in-law Greg Chyz ( 2015). She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Mary Anne (Jeff) Jones, John (Sophia) Fedorowich, David (Gwen) Fedorowich, Irene Chyz, Daniel (Arlene) Fedorowich, and Michael (Susannah) Fedorowich, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Judy was treasured by the staff of Fairmont Extendicare in Lethbridge, where she spent her last years close to her mom. A sincere thank you is extended to all the staff at Extendicare who helped Irene so much in taking care of Judy. Prayers will be held on Sunday November 19 at 7 pm followed by the Funeral Liturgy Monday November 20 at 10 am. Both services will be celebrated at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton. Interment will follow at the City of Yorkton Cemetery. Bailey's Funeral Home of Yorkton is in charge of funeral arrangements. If one so wishes donations can be made to St Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton for a mass for Judy, Sask Abilities council or to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society. You will always be our little flower.
