What a loss. Curtis was a good friend to my sons. He came to my home many times. Always polite and respectful. He was such a wonderful young man. He loved animals and did what he could to save a dog. Hence his dog "convict" ..I love that story. I know that his passing has had a very sad affect on us. He will be so missed! Love and my prayers to his family and friends.

Im really sorry to hear of the passing of Curtis. I became friends with Curtis in elementary school and have a lot of great memories of him from growing up together. From Roselyn Hill to huge neighborhood games to harmless teenage mischief, Curtis always had a smile on his face! My condolences to his family. I hope you find strength through this difficult time.

Curtis first came to work at Big Zee's 15 years ago. He came in and applied in person. We told him we would call him. The second day he came in and said "I really want to work here - give me a day - you don't even have to pay me and if at the end of that day you don't want me to work here then I'll be on my way". That was 15 years ago and he worked on and off for us during that time. We trusted him with our business and never once in 15 years did we have to ask for our key back. Curtis started off as an employee, then became our friend, then became part of our family. He was loyal, caring, polite, trustworthy, smart, witty, talented and always honest with his opinion good or bad. He was an animal lover and anyone knows how Convict came to be will know what I am talking about! He lived by a house that tied up their dog almost 24 hours a day. Curtis, of course, felt bad for him and would go over there everyday with bits of treats to win over his friendship. He was patient and would just talk to the dog and gain his trust. Sure the dog bit him a few times but that didn't stop Curtis. And before you knew it, the dog was wagging his tail when Curtis came around and would eat out of his hand. He was probably the best part of that dog's day! He introduced us to different music - one of our favorites was probably Hank III and he liked the song "Follow Your Arrow" by Casey Musgraves and we would even sing that one together! We will miss the singing, storytelling, his smile and laughter but most of all his heart to hearts we had and his hugs which were always big and sincere - like him - larger than life. We spent a lot of time talking, crying and laughing. Curtis you will be missed more than you know and the fact that we will never see you again brings tears to our eyes every time we think of you. We loved you like family and you will always be in our hearts and never for one day forgotten. The world without Curtis became a little less colorful - he truly was one of a kind. Whenever Curtis would hang up the phone with us he always ended with "See You" so "see you" Curtis and we hope that you have found your peace.

Curtis words can't express how sad this makes me. I'm still shocked and don't know if I should cry or turn up some Marilyn Manson or NiN and sing on the top of my lungs. You were family to me my big brother. You always had my back and I'm sorry I wasn't there when u must have needed someone.the most. To his family I send my greatest condolences. But I'm sure he's in a better place to all our friend Kirsten Yanke and Curtis are smiling down at us and wish us the best. I love you Curtis always remembers never forgotten. Thank you for taking the time to strum on the guitar with my dad. You could always make me smile and say exactly how it is. U MADE SOME AMAZING GOOD PIZZAS! Much love I don't know how to say goodbye it hurts too much. I can't believe I'll never hear or see you again.love you. Watch over us ok. Xoxo. RIP. I'll always love you.

My condolences go out to the Keller family. I can only imagine what they're going through, and I am sincerely sorry. There are two people in this world that I consider my best and closest friends, and Curtis Keller was definitely one of them. I met Curtis when I was about 15 and he was younger than me. It took a few more years after that until we started hanging out quite often, but since then we've been the closest friends ever. I have many stories that I just can't tell here mainly due to their crude, outrageous, and downright absurd nature. Curtis had many friends, most of them I don't even know, but I'm sure many of you have similar experiences too. Anyhow, what I simply wanted to say is that I'm going to miss that a**hole. RIP Brother.
