Obituary of Anna Martha Tymiak

Anna grew up in Punnichy area working on her father and mother's farm (Joe and Pauline Kelemen) along with her brothers Leslie and Joe, and sister Elizabeth. She left there to work at the restaurant in Watrous when she was in her 20's. As they never had much during the war years, she purchased her first new winter coat in Watrous. During this time she met her husband-to-be William Tymiak and they were married ON November 22, 1949. They moved to Jasmin, purchased a home, and settled down to have a family (Patrick and Angela). Anna grew large gardens, loved her animals, carried water, and cooked over a wood stove at this residence. She made many loaves of bread, and a beautiful healthy meal was always on her table. Nobody ever left her home hungry. Anna worked milking cows for a family in Jasmin for a number of years, as well as looking after her own family. She then worked at the Wynyard and Yorkton Co-Op Poultry Plants until she retired in 1968; After her husband William passed away in 1994, she moved to the Paradise Lodge in Kelliher where she resided until 2005. She established many friends and acquaintances who loved her dearly. Her flowers and plants, inside and out, portrayed her great pride as well as displayed her green thumb attribute. Anna survived an earlier illness and moved to Balcarres in 2005 where she remained until her death in 2017. Anna was respected, loved, and cherished by her family, friends, staff members, and everyone she touched with her big heart. Anna was a hard working mother, grandmother, and wife who never showed a shortage of love to anyone. She was a true Angel of God. Anna was predeceased by her father Joe Kelemen, mother Pauline, brothers Leslie and Joe, sister Elizabeth, and her husband William Tymiak, and a special great nephew, Jim Tymiak and many relatives & friends that she dearly missed. She is survived by her son Patrick Tymiak (Irene Fraser) of Calgary; Judy Gentes of Calgary, her daughter Angela (Alvin) Murray of Regina; grandchildren Trisha Murray of Regina, and Leslie, Carley, Gregory, Jeremy Tymiak (Nikki Bernath) of Calgary; Five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews throughout Canada.
