I was so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. My heartfelt sympathy to Cousin Norman, Elaine , David and all immediate and extended family. She and David seemed to me a remarkable couple in their mutual regard and respect for each other and their unmistakeable affection. They were a team when it came to caring for Aunt Helen and Aunt Dorthea. Talking to Donna was a joy. Her positivity, caring and humour lifted spirits.. We were profoundly shocked and saddened when we heard of Donna's passing. In recent years we had reconnected with Donna and David and we are glad we did. Donna was a down to earth and generous person and she had a great sense of humour. We know she will be missed by all those who knew her. I was saddened to hear of the loss of Donna (Lutcher), she was my inspiration as a small farm kid to play girl's hockey and boy could she play! She was the Gretzky on our team "Yorkton Leopards" I know we've all grown older and farther apart but whenever I would see her in Yorkton she always had the biggest smile on her face and a kind word . I had the privelage of knowing her for the last 35 yrs. she taught our son in elementary school and he has only positive memories she was always interested in what he was up to following his hockey and university she was genuinely interested in what people were doing with their lives she will be missed.
