Obituary of Lillian Agnes Elaschuk

Lillian Agnes Elaschuk was born on January 21, 1927 at Wakaw, Saskatchewan, a daughter of John and Barbara (nee Budai) Graczo. Later she moved with her family to Bjorkdale, Saskatchewan. On November 29, 1949 Lillian was united in marriage to William Elaschuk at Tisdale, SK. The couple established their home in Yorkton and raised three children. When the children were old enough to look after themselves Lillian went to work full time as a cook for the Co-op Restaurant. She retired in her fifties when she became a grandmother and devoted her time babysitting them. Lillian had many passions which included gardening, flowers, and travelling. She loved doing crafts and loved animals especially cats and dogs. Her greatest love was her family and her cat. Lillian passed away on December 2, 2016 at the age of 89 years. She will lovingly remembered by her son Leonard (Suzanne) and their children Erin and Kim of Yorkton, her daughter Linda Elaschuk of Regina and her son Allen (Laurie) and their children Chris and Jay of Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband William in 2000 and two sisters, Irene Larson and Pauline Yurchuk.
