Obituary of Raymond Armand Langlais
LANGLAIS - Raymond Langlais, beloved husband of Madeline Mandzuk passed away suddenly on Friday, September 23rd 2016 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. He was 84 years of age. Raymond was born on May 24, 1932 at Ste. Hedwidge, Quebec. Raymond spent a good part of his life working as a lumberjack in Ontario. He loved the outdoors and being able to connect with nature. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as trapping. In more recent years, Ray showed his ability to be a sharp cribbage player and spent some time playing pool. Ray loved telling stories and jokes, he thoroughly enjoyed playing tricks on others, especially if he thought he wouldn't get caught. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Thomas-Louis and Anna Langlais; his brothers: Elie, Charles-Eugene, Leo, Robert, Rene and Jules; his sisters: Jeanne & Gertrude. Raymond is survived by his wife Madeline; his children Maureen, Guy, Ray, Rena, Richard & Larry, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also a sister Elianne, and a brother Hidola (Estelle); his step-children: Paul Perron (Roxane), Claude Perron, Jeannine McAvoy (Bill), Robert Perron (Jill), and Denis Perron, and their families. As well as numerous other relatives and friends. Ray will be sadly missed and never forgotten by all who knew him. The funeral service was held on Saturday, October 1st 2016 from St. Gerard's Roman catholic Church in Yorkton. The interment will take place at a later date. Service Information
