I remember attending grade one at Grandy School, north or Wynyard, where Imba was a student. She was like a big sister to me that year. Later, she was a lab tech at Yorkton Regional Hospital, where I worked as a nurse on Pediatrics….one morning she came to the ward & much to my surprise, she wished me Happy Birthday! I couldn't believe that she remembered that, after so many years! Such a special person! As well as a great lab tech! RIP, Imba! Carol

Growing up in Yorkton as friends and neighbors with the Fedorowich girls, I have very fond memories of Imba. She was the most kind and generous mom, always welcoming us into her home. She was forever calm and cheerful even during the rambunctious teenage years, and shared a wonderful sense of humor. Being very unique in her community, she leaves a legacy that we can all be independent thinkers, curious about the world, committed to family and friends, and gracious in good and trying times.
