Obituary of MacKenzie Parker Keshane

KESHANE HUTTON - Mr. Mackenzie Keshane Hutton of Yorkton, beloved son of Russell Hutton passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the age of 19 years. Mackenzie, was born January 28, 1997 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan to Russell Hutton and Yvonne Keshane. Mackenzie attended school in Yorkton where he made many friends and touched many hearts. He enjoyed playing with his friends at school especially his best friend Billy. He was proud when he received the Most Improved Student and the Principal award. Mack loved football. He had the privilege in Grade 8 to start being part of the Yorkton Regional Team. Mack received many certificates while attending classes at SIIT. He was proud of all his accomplishments. His goal was to one day work on the rigs. Mack loved his family, friends and pets, his heart was full of love. His smile would light up a room and warm your heart. He would also put others before himself. Those who were close to Mackenzie will remember his laugh, sense of humor, his heart warmed smile and his love for his family and friends. Mack was amazing with children. He was patient, gentle and kind. It is a shame he was taken from us. He will be greatly missed and remembered in our hearts deeply. Mackenzie leaves behind his father Russell Hutton of Yorkton, SK, siblings Jamal & Brooke Ahpay-Hutton of Vancouver, BC, siblings Daysha & Daythan Keshane of Toronto, ON. Also his grandmother Doreen Grant of Yorkton, SK, his special aunty Kellyanne (Craig) Ostafie and family of Canora, SK and his dog Mugz who he shared with his close friend Nicole. He leaves behind many cousins, uncles, aunts, special friends and so many other friends to grieve and remember the incredible person he was. Mackenzie was predeceased by his mother Yvonne Keshane, grandfather David Hutton, uncle Robbie Hutton. The Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Ray Yost as the officiant, assisted by Margaret Ann Yost. The organist, Shirley Ostafie led the singing of the hymns, "Amazing Grace", "Take Time to Be Holy" and "God Will Take Care of You". Reflections of Mackenzie's life were shared by Treena Maguire. The Interment took place in the Garden of Gethsemane at Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Craig Ostafie, Devin Grant, Neil Finnie, Noah Finnie, Korry Wosminity and Billy Maguire serving as the casket bearers. Donations in memory of Mackenzie may be made to the Yorkton SPCA or to the Yorkton Guardian Angel Animal Rescue.
