Obituary of Alfred Fuchs

Alfred and Bernice were united in marriage on January 9, 1961. The couple resided in Regina until 1964, then decided to move back to Grayson and were blessed with two children who they leave to cherish their memory, daughter Roxanne Fuchs (Joe Caron) and his sons Kyle and Kelsey; son Jody (Denise) Fuchs and their daughter Madison who for the past eight years was Grandma & Grandpa's Absolute Greatest Joy! Uncle Alf Alfred was born on October 18, 1939, a son to Joe G. and (Josepha "Sophie" Huber) Fuchs. He attended school in Grayson. He then moved to Regina and worked for Rogers Lumber. Returning to Grayson Alfred bought a grain truck and hauled grain for the farmers. After a few years he sold the truck and started doing carpentry. Later Alf ran the water plant and was a custodian at Grayson School for 33 years retiring 1 month ago. He coached hockey for a number of years and also enjoyed sharpening skates in the infamous "Sugar Shack". Alf enjoyed camping, playing golf, fishing, watching hockey, building bird houses and socializing with family and friends. He was also a former member of the Grayson Knights of Columbus. His pride and joy was his granddaughter Madison - she was his "Little Mouse"! Alfred joins in eternal peace his father Joe G. and mother Josepha his brother Ted.
