Obituary of Lorraine Ksonzena

KSONZENA - Emily Lorraine Ksonzena was born on July 21st, 1933 at Kuroki, Saskatchewan; a daughter of Dorothy (nee Hunter) and Ernest Turner. On August 11, 1952 Lorraine married Joseph Ksonzena. The couple resided in Yorkton. Following Joe's sudden passing in 1993, Lorraine stayed in Yorkton for a number of years before moving to Regina to be close to family. For the past few years Lorraine's health was failing and she had become a resident of the Regina Pioneer Village. She passed away on August 15th 2016 at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her daughter Terri (Mike Garratt); grandchildren: Gideon & Esmee; Mathew and Jordyn, and many treasured nieces and nephews. Lorraine enjoyed many wonderful years at the family cottage at Good Spirit Lake with family and close friends. She will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to join the family on Saturday, September 24th at 1:00pm at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens for a graveside service (please meet in the parking lot of the Family Centre).
