Obituary of Sylvia Boczulak

Sylvia Boczulak went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2016. She was 78 years of age. Sylvia was born on January 27, 1938. She was the first child to John and Mary (Koback) Antoneshyn in the Kelliher District of Saskatchewan. She received her educational New Haven School. After completing her school she went into the work force. She met her future husband Lazar Boczulak and was united in marriage on October 27, 1956 at the Sacred Heart church in Ituna. They made their home on a family farm near Jasmin Saskatchewan. They were blessed with two sons. Mom worked side by side with Lazar in all aspects of their mixed farming operation. Through the years she was a member of the UCWL devoting her time and talent. Mom was an outstanding cook, who loved to share with family and friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She treasured her moments with her grandchildren dearly. Sylvia was a pillar of strength to her family who were her life of pride and joy. Mom in her past time enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, and doing crafts. Gardening and growing flowers was a passion for her. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Lazar, grandson Collin, father John, mother Mary, father-in-law Ilko, mother-in-law Ann, brother-in-laws William Boczulak and Joe Bochulak and sister-in-law Kay (Walter) Budyk. She leaves to mourn sons Norman (Dianne), David (Denise), grandchildren Melissa and Brittany, sister-in-laws Marlene Boczulak and Carolyn Bochulak, sister Verna (Sam) Bulych, brothers Maynard (Dianne), Julian (Doreen), Lloyd (Sharon), Anton (Anne) as well as numerous special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
