Obituary of Sophie Kaczmar

Sophie Kaczmar was born on April 16, 1932 in the Ituna district. She was the youngest of four children of Steve and Annie (Huniak) Prayda growing up in the Olga & Ituna School Districts. Sophie married John Kaczmar on August 13, 1950 at the Ituna Sacred Heart Church. They farmed until 1994 on the Andrew Kaczmar homestead. They then moved to Ituna where she dedicated more pride in her love for baking, sewing, yard and flowers. Sophie entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the age of 83. Sophie was predeceased by husband John in 2005, parents Steve and Annie Prayda, sister Mary Federko, grandson Bradley Fiforowich. She is survived by two daughters Darlene (Joe) Fiforowich, Elaine (Neil) Godlien. Grandchildren Wesley (Lucy) Fiforowich, Brandee (Stu) Snowdon, Lyndon (Lisa) Godlien, Brett Godlien. Great Grandchildren Elizabeth Fiforowich Thomas, Kody and Taylor Snowdon, Carson and Emma Godlien. Leaves behind brother Stanley Prayda, sister Victoria Kobialko, sister-in-law Ann Nayko, Rose and Bill Uchacz and numerous nieces and nephews.
