Florence was born on November 3, 1941 in Melville, Saskatchewan to Robert and Margaret (nee Bentley) Craft. Florence grew up and received her education in Melville. After graduation Florence joined the Air Force and spent time in Eastern Canada, Montreal Quebec was her favorite. Upon her return to Melville, she began working at the Royal Bank and met the love of her life David Burak. The couple resided in Melville where Florence continued to work for the bank, Dome Petroleum and Melville Advance while raising their family. After Leanne was born she became a stay at home mom and homemaker. In 1978 Florence and David moved to the farm at Goodeve, where she continued to maintain a household while David worked for CN. Florence was a wonderful cook and embraced the Ukrainian tradition learning from her mother-in-law Nellie, who often said to her that she did a better job than she could. The love of outdoors and nature were among her favorite things as well gardening, camping and bird watching. Florence's special time of the year was preparing for Christmas and spending time with family. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren that were her pride and joy.
