BIBLOW - George was born on September 22nd, 1934 to Peter and Helen (Dutchak) Biblow on a farm near Buchanan, Saskatchewan. He was the first of five children. George lived and worked on the family farm until he moved away to complete his education before settling in Yorkton in 1960. He met his wife Christine (Fullawka) in 1963 and they were married in 1965. They bought their home in 1972 where they raised their four children - Zane, Sheldon, Duane and Lyle. George was employed in the retail sector throughout his working career, spending the majority at Macleod's, until he retired in 1999. George was a quiet, gentle, and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. George was proud of his sons and enjoyed watching them grow up. He was always eager to talk about them throughout the stages of their lives. He was very close with his parents, brothers and sisters and was at his happiest spending time together with family. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time with his sons and daughters-in-law, his grandchildren, and his extended family. George spent his retired years gardening, relaxing, and travelling across the country visiting his sons and their families. George moved into the Yorkton and District Nursing Home due to his declining health in 2012, where he passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on September 16th. George was predeceased by his parents, his brother Ivan, and his brother-in-law Vern Griffiths. He is survived by his wife Christine, brother Dave (Laurie), sisters Elaine Griffiths and Donna, and sister-in-law Heather. Left to cherish his memory are his children and grandchildren: Zane (Raylene) - Gabriella, Claire and Jillian; Sheldon (Gayle) - Taylor and Courtney; Duane (Penny) - Milena and Hayden; and Lyle (Angela) - Donavan and Stuart.
