DIDUCK - Anton (Tony) Diduck of the Wroxton district passed away peacefully on September 9, 2015 with family by his side. He was 88 years of age. Anton was born on February 15, 1927 on his parent's farm three miles east of Wroxton. Anton was the eighth of twelve children born to Klem and Malanka (nee Lushney) Diduck of Wroxton, Saskatchewan. Anton said his parents thought family were cheaper by the dozen and his father, Klem had his own ball team of nine boys. Anton completed his grade eight at Wroxton School. On July 18, 1953 he married Mary Puchala of the Dneiper SK area. They were blessed with four children: Gloria and Greg (twins-1955), Adrienne (1957) and Sheldon (1964), eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memories of special times were made together. Dad and mom parted ways in 1995. In the last fifteen years he shared his life with Mary Miller and they enjoyed farming together. Dad enjoyed being around his family and friends, attending church, building the Wroxton Community Centre, being an RM councillor and working together while he was able. Hard work and good working ethics were instilled in his family. Dad liked to visit, tell stories and jokes and provide laughter to those around him. He did his best to make a joke of a difficult situation. When his doctor told him in July he had liver and pancreatic cancer and his remaining life on earth would be shorter than he hoped, Dad asked "if the ones that had gone before him might be happy to see him?" Dad operated a cattle and grain farm which was only a mile east of where he was raised. He loved to attend auction sales and was known by all the local auctioneers. Dad lived life the best he knew how with great dreams and visions. He always looked forward to visits from everyone to share a joke and have good memories together. He will be deeply missed. May You Rest In Peace.
