Alex also enjoyed tending to his yard and garden, in which he took great pride. They were faithful members of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and also St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church in Yorkton. Rose was a member of CWL and spent many happy hours helping at the hall for various functions. She made many friends over the years and always lend a helping hand without hesitation.
