Obituary of Stanley Albin Lorenz

LORENZ - Mr. Stan Lorenz of Ituna, beloved husband of Rose Lorenz left this world peacefully on June 22, 2015 at Pioneer Heath Care Centre in Ituna, SK at 83 years of age. Stan was a loving husband and father with great family values. He worked hard all of his life on the farm, as a carpenter, meat cutter and took pride in gardening and yard work all while enjoying the simple things in life. He loved food, especially homemade soup which was always "wonderful" and enjoyed treating his friends and family with lots to eat and drink. He was a very strong and tough man both physically and emotionally and through the last two years of his illness still said he felt no pain. Stan prayed to be with God and after saying goodbye to his family, his prayers were answered. Stan is survived and sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 55 years, Rose, daughter Val (Howard) Brightman, son Aaron (Marilyn) Lorenz and granddaughter Tabitha (Brad) Goodman. Stan is also survived by his sister Wanda Konkin and family and his brother Ed (Evelyn) Lorenz and family. There will be no funeral as per Stan's request.
