Obituary of Dennis Flamont

The family of Dennis Flamont of Yorkton, beloved husband of Virginia Flamont sadly announce his sudden passing on Saturday, June 11, 2022. He was 57 years of age. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice as gifts or remembrance. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, brother and friend, Dennis John Flamont. Dennis passed away on Saturday, June 11th, 2022, at the age of 57 years. Dennis was born on January 30th, 1965, in Yorkton to his proud parents, Joseph and Lillian Flamont. Dennis attended school at the Yorkton Lions School. He married his true love, Virginia Muschell (Gladue) on July 15th, 2006. Dennis worked at IGA packing groceries for many years and once IGA closed, he took a job at Melrose Place as a dishwasher. Dennis’s true passion was music and dancing. His dream was to appear on Dancing with the Stars. Dennis enjoyed having a beer and dancing his evening away at the City Limits with Virginia by his side for many weekends. Dennis loved Elvis music, as he was a true fan. Dennis made many close friends over the years. Dennis also loved playing pool and visiting with his best friend Kevin Biehl. Dennis fondly reminisced about his trip to Edmonton that he took with his wife Virginia. Virginia’s side of the family made the arrangements. The trip was about 12 years ago. About 10 years ago, Virginia was moved to the Yorkton and District Nursing Home. Dennis was a very loving, devoted husband. He always made a point of visiting Virginia on a regular basis until Covid put a stop to regular visits. Dennis is survived by Virginia, his wife of 16 years, and two sisters, Sharon and Delores and numerous extended family and friends. The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Crystal Bailey, certified celebrant officiating. The interment followed in the Garden of Tranquility, Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Yolanda Adams, Troy Zieben, Larry Kowbel, Clifford Farkas, Kevin Biehl and Brian Johnson serving as casket bearers.
