Obituary of Henry Stefanyshyn

Henry peacefully passed away at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on February 15th 2015. Henry was born on June 8th 1941 in Yorkton Saskatchewan, he is the son of Mike and Mary Stefanyshyn. He received his education at Biblow School in the Whitesand district. Henry started farming in 1959 to present. On July 15th 1966 he was united in marriage to Alice (Paley). They were blessed with three children; Richard, Roxann and Michael. Henry took on a mechanic job at Sorenson's shop in Theodore from 1969 to 1981. Henry was also a very active member to the Whitesand church as a grounds keeper. Henry's greatest enjoyments were definitely his cattle, watching his grandchildren's hockey, baseball, motocross racing, figure skating, dancing. In his spare time he enjoyed supporting small town functions, he also loved auction sales to see what kind of "junk" he could drag home with his close friends, Corrie Griston and Gord Shindle. Henry also found great satisfaction to his daily coffee runs to Springside with his coffee row friends. Henry was predeceased by his parents Mike and Mary, brothers John, Robert, Peter, and his sisters Doreen and Elaine. He leaves to mourn his three children Richard (Rhonda) Ryley, Reegan and Rhianna of Canora. Roxann (Walter) Zachary and Brittany Hudy of Yorkton. Michael (Tammy) Devin, Dawson, Michaela, Keagan of Yorkton. As well as his sisters Olga (Jack) McInnis of Calgary, Violet (Abe) Sandnes of Dawson Creek, Sonia of Yorkton and sister in law Irene Stefanyshyn of Manitoba. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
